UH Hiring Two Positions in U.S. History - Revised Announcement on Colonial Position

The History Department at the University of Houston invites applications for tenure-track assistant or associate (with tenure) professorship in U.S. colonial history prior to the Revolution. Research and teaching in the areas of Atlantic World and/or Native American history are preferred. The successful candidate should have completed the requirements for the Ph.D. by September 2006 and will be expected to teach a range of undergraduate and graduate courses, including U.S. survey.
