Tenneco Lecture on Native American History in Nicaragua

Roxanne Dunbar-Ortiz, historian and activist, who has written on Native American history in the U.S. and Nicaragua, will be speaking at UH on Friday, February 10. Her talk, "Sandinistas, Miskito Indians, and the Contra War: A Case Study in the History of Nationalism, Indigeneism, and US Imperialism in Latin America" will sponsored by the Tenneco Lecture series in conjunction with the History Department and the Latin American Studies Program. She will speak at 1 p.m. in SW 101.
