History Co-Sponsors Lecture On Sudan

The UH History Department is co-sponsoring "The Imperative to Act: Darfur and Sudan." Mark Bixler of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and author of The Lost Boys of Sudan and Jerry Fowler, Staff Director, Committee on Conscience, United States Holocaust Memorial Museum will speak, Bixler at 4 p.m., Fowler at 7 p.m. at Rice University, Herring Hall, Room 100. On Saturday, February 18, at 1 p.m. a teaching in-service, "Imperative to Teach: Africa in the Classroom" will be held at Holocaust Museum Houston.
