UH Hiring Two Historians in U.S. History

The Department of History at the University of Houston seeks applications for a senior position in U.S. history, field open. The appointment will be at the full or associate level with tenure. Applicants should have a distinguished record of scholarly productivity, a demonstrated commitment to the training of graduate students, and be prepared to teach a wide range of courses. The application deadline is Dec. 1, 2006, and the position will begin in August 2007. The department has programmatic interests include, but are not limited to, transnationalism, migration and immigration, comparative race and ethnicity, gendered approaches, and cultural analysis.
