UH Alumnus Terry Rugeley Given Regents Distinguished
Research Award at the University of Oklahoma.

Terry Rugeley, a 1992 graduate of the University of Houston Ph.D. program in Latin American History, has been given the Regents Distinguished Research Award at the University of Oklahoma where he is the Presidential Professor of History. Rugeley is a prolific scholar of nineteenth-century Mexico and has published four books since 1996 on a range of topics.

The UH History Department faculty congratulates him on this well-deserved accomplishment.
